Sepehr is the founder and Principal of Balmoral Law Professional Corporation, and Managing Director of Liquid Block SEZC, a Cayman Islands-based digital asset merchant bank focused on tokenized physical storage and commodities advisory.
A securities and capital markets lawyer by training, Sepehr holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and completed his Articles of Clerkship at Baker & McKenzie in Toronto. He subsequently served as Senior Manager of Listings at the Toronto Stock Exchange, where he oversaw regulatory compliance for some of Canada's largest public entities, and as a Dealing Representative for TSX Private Markets (a subsidiary of TMX Group), facilitating capital formation in Canada's exempt market.
Since 2012, Sepehr has advised issuers, private investors, and investment dealers on corporate, securities, and capital markets matters. His unique combination of legal expertise, institutional market experience, and deep knowledge of digital asset infrastructure positions his practice at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain innovation. He has also taught Economics at York University and is admitted to the Ontario Bar.
